A picture of the red room in Muriel's restaurant located in New Orleans. This building has quite a history.... In 1789 this house was built by a man named Antoine Leopardi Jordan. He loved his house dearly, but unfortunatly had an awful gambling problem. One night he lost his house in a poker match, but instead of giving up his dream house he commited suicide, hanging himself from the second story balcony. He left a suicide note saying that he would haunt the building for eternity. Today people see his ghost frequently here. The red room was built to host seyaunces, and keep in mind this is a four star restaurant, they should need all the space for customers that they can get. What would they need a seyaunce room for? When I entered I felt a since of eerieness, like I was being watched. I respectfully took a few pictures and left, making sure not to disturb anything.
